Kate Festo is a lifelong stitcher and an EGA Certified teacher in silk and metal thread embroidery, authorized to teach the Japanese needlework technique called rozashi by the American designate of the Kunimitsu Rozashi Studios in Japan.

 

She has taught locally in Connecticut and at Embroiderers' Guild of America and American Needlepoint Guild chapters in the New York tri-state area, private residences and at the public library in New Canaan, CT. She is a member of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America, the American Needlepoint Guild, the National Academy of Needlearts, the Japanese Embroidery Center, and the National Embroidery Teachers Association.
